हाँथ छूटे भी तो रिश्ता नही तोड़ा करते ।
वक्त कि शाख से लम्हे नही तोड़ा करते। ।
जिसकी आवाज मे सिलवट हो , निगाहों मे शिकन।
ऐसी तस्वीर के टुकडे नही जोडा करते। ।
शहद भी जीने का मिला करता है थोडा-थोडा।
जाने वालो के लिए दिल नही थोडा करते। ।
लग के साहिल से जो बहता है , उसे बहने दो।
ऐसी दरिया का मुख नही मोडा करते। ।

Hi Ravi, Thank you for your comment on my blog. It has been a very long time since I read hindi. Rereshing to see it here :-) Par meri tho hindi ... gayee thel bhejne!!! LOL. But when I hear ad read good hindi poetry / prose I appreciate it - Aur Gulzar ki tho jawab hi nahein :-)
Hmmm... can you help me in one small thing? I want to know the meaning of this : "Mere khwabhon ka Thabeer" - Its a line from a song I like very much - sung by Jawad Ahmed, "Bin tere kya hai jeena" - bahut achee gana hai :-) I get stuck with shudh hindi and its meanings at times ... What's a Thabeer? And khwaab is a fantasy, not a dream - right?

I've always had a good time in hindi class in school. In high school, Aamir Khan's 'Rangeela' was released - I was in grade 12. My best friend was a Shah Rukh fan and we used to have a lot of Aamir - Shah Rukh 'discussions' ... anyway, we taught our hindi teacher 'tapori hindi' in hindi class. Ha ha ha ... School days :-)
